In 2006 the Youth Impro Games were established in Melbourne to provide students with an alternative type of competition to the traditional athletic or academic variety and to give students a setting in which to help build up social, communication and other life skills. Consequently the Youth Impro Games is a great opportunity for students to develop sharpness of mind, confidence and presentation skills in a structured, yet fun, team based environment. Impro has never been more popular. Whether seeking a career in business, law, politics, education, medicine or the performing arts, improvisation is an invaluable skill to add to one’s repertoire.
Over the years we have seen any School joining the games including The Knox School, MLC, Camberwell High School. St Francis Xavier and Mazenod College.
