Adlib Children’s Theatre is holding auditions for their upcoming school holiday production of Aladdin.

Characters (s) denotes solo singing role.

ALADDIN Male Aged 16 years + SINGING ROLE SARINA (Owner of the Daily Scroll) Female Aged 16 years + SINGING ROLE GASSIN (Media Mogul) Male or Female 20 years + SINGING ROLE GENIE Male or Female 16 years + SINGING ROLE

SUPPORTING ROLES FOR CHILDREN’S THEATRE

TOMAGO (son to Gassin) 12 years + ABDUL (Leader of 40 pickpockets) 12 years + SINGING ROLE KASIM (Sidekick to Abdul) 10 years + MIA (sister to Sarina) 13 years + GENIE GIRLS Singing and Dancing Ensemble 12 years – Adult PICKPOCKETS 6 years + 12 years non-speaking ensemble ALL APPLICANTS 12 YEARS AND OVER ARE REQUIRED TO BRING BACKING TRACK FOR SINGING AUDITION. SONG CHOICE SHOULD BE MUSICAL THEATRE OR DISNEY. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT BACKING TRACK WITH VOCALS.

PRODUCTION FEE

All cast members of this season of “Aladdin” are required to pay a production fee. See details below. Single Cast Member $40.00 This fee includes a script for the cast member, downloads of rehearsal/production music and a DVD of the Production. Family Cast Fee $50.00 This fee includes a script for each cast member, downloads of rehearsal/production music and a DVD of the Production
