For over 25 years Adlib has been passionate about sharing the wonder of theatre. By offering a vehicle for students to feel the warmth of the spotlight, while knowing that beyond that light there is a supportive team of Adlibians.
THEATRE BUGS – Ages 6-9 years
Our Junior students are introduced to the skills of acting and theatre performance, while developing their confidence as individuals. Through drama exercises and games, the children have heaps of fun while learning basic stagecraft, voice production, improvisation, character and teamwork.

STAGE DOOR – Ages 10-12 years
As intermediates, the students are encouraged to create their own scripts, perform solo pieces, and work on longer pieces for entry into local One Act Play festivals. Focus is given to combining acting techniques that incorporate the body, emotions, character, and mime in improvisation and other performances.

ACTING UP – Ages 13-18 years
As the students mature they are expected to work more independently. Performance pieces are an important part of this level with students devising, writing and directing their own scripts. They are required to utilise different aspects of theatre performance. This includes the students taking responsibility for the incorporation of music, costuming, lighting and props in their work.
